[cw-discuss] Crossover Games Demo problems

Hi,
I'm trying out Crossover Games for the first time. I'm excited to
see Codeweavers getting into this area. No matter what - good luck!

OK, the installer gave me a warning on my Gentoo AMD64 machine. I
know you don't officially support Gentoo (ah...come on!) ;-) but I'll
report it anyway in case it's involved:

mark at lightning ~/Desktop $ sh ./install-crossover-games-7.0.0.sh
Verifying archive integrity...OK
Uncompressing CrossOver Games
...
Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to load module "libgnomebreakpad.so":
libgnomebreakpad.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
install
mark at lightning ~/Desktop $
mark at lightning ~/Desktop $ slocate libgnomebreakpad.so
/usr/lib64/gtk-2.0/modules/libgnomebreakpad.so
mark at lightning ~/Desktop $

OK, that's just a warning so no big deal. (I hope...)

My initial problem is how do I get to a game that I've just installed?
I installed a game called Lighthouse. It's not on your supported list
but nothing I want to play is so I figured I'd try something I've
tested recently under standard Wine to see how the CXGames program
works. The install went fine as far as I can tell. However in the
documentation, located here,

file:///home/mark/cxgames/doc/en/index.html

it is strongly suggested that in Gnome I should have a Windows Games
menu item where I would find the game. I do not have that menu item.

I tried logging out and back in. That didn't work.

I do have the the Crossover Games menu item with 7 items in that list.

I do see the game installed here:

mark at lightning ~ $ ls -la .cxgames/CXHTML/drive_c/SIERRA/

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Mark
