I'm afraid that is exactly the problem, and this is a class of problems
that would be solved if we accomplished one of two things:  enabling
IE to run in a Windows 2000 bottle or completely replacing IE altogether.

We're working on both angles, but both are very hard, and I'm afraid we're
not likely to accomplish either in the near term.

The only suggestion I would make is to see whether or not your sharepoint
will function at all with Firefox; if so, you could install it and use it
instead.
