I use Gnucash.  It is not without it's problems, starting with a
ferocious learning curve, but once you get past that all the pain and
teeth gnashing pays off. 

Gnucash does have one area in which it is really weak in comparison to
Quicken, and that is reports.  Quicken does glorious reports. Gnucash
does not.
