I'll give that a try. Unfortunately, when I've put my Install Disk in while
CrossOver wasn't running, the Mac compares the version of OS X on the
installer disk (10.4.5) to that installed on the MacBook Pro already
(10.4.11) and says it cannot run. The 2nd disk that came with the MacBook
Pro (labeled "additional software installers") doesn't run independently of
the first; i.e., if I put IN in the optical drive, it asks me to run the
installer from the first disk.

I've run into another problem, too. After I've run IE6 under CrossOver, if I
boot the computer into Windows under Boot Camp, Microsoft demands
reactivation of the operating system. If that wasn't a one-time glitch, it's
a deal-breaker for me. Do others report this as well?

Thanks so much. I'd prefer a response on list so that others can follow and
contribute.
