[cw-discuss] Possible conflicts with windows flash player

My OS is kubuntu 7.10. When I install flash for windows, which I meant for
IE, firefox starting using it also. 
Since then firefox has exhibited unstable behavior, it just shuts down without 
any warning or message. I'd like to configure firefox to use _linux_ flash 
player. Are there any gotchas to this process that I should be concerned 
about?
