Hello,
We have done extensive work to try to get Mac Input Methods to work
properly with CrossOver. For the most part the work was with the Input
Methods included with OS X by default. There is both a traditional
Chinese and simplified Chinese method there that we have had good luck with.
I have not tested QIM as i did not know about it existence. I can try it
out and see what may be going wrong.
What version of CrossOver are you trying? If you are trying the
unstable build of CrossOver Games then there are Input method issues
with that build which cause it not to work. I would recommend trying
our stable version of 6.2.1
thank you,
-aric
