Hello Jeremy !
Thanks for Your infos and supports !
I´ve ordered and installed Crossover on my wife´s MacBookPro, she
is an MS Office User by need, although she likes the MBP a lot!
So I installed Crossover for her in order to run the real Office 2003
cause Office Mac doesnt fit to her needs.
Except the shift of the command key between OSX and Crossover
(from cmd to ctrl) she likes it a lot, and we are really happy !
The first and only problem with OSX appeared, when she wanted to
type chinese (my wife is chinese) and the typing method of OSX
turned out of being quite poor.
After some research I found on sinomac the Software QIM - 1.4.7
which is a really advanced nice pinyin input method.
QIM 1.4.7 software download - Mac OS X - VersionTracker
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/30035
After installing it will offer in the OS X System Preferences
"International"
at "Input Menu" the "QIM Sogou Dict", which when choosed instead of
"Simplified Chinese" offers a really nice fast and advanced typing, my
wifes Fingers fly over the keyboard then really fast...
Unfortunately we figured out while being on Holiday in Southitaly,
that the input method does not work in Crossover, the german Input
Method did respond, althoug QIM is on the Menubar active.
Therefore I ask for advice or help !
Thanks and regards,
