Hello All,

New to the world of Linux, CrossOver/Wine, etc. by way of an Asus Eee PC.

I have successfully installed CrossOver on the Eee from the Advanced Desktop Mode. When I downloaded a couple of Windows apps. I was given the option to run the cxoffice installer. Using this option, the apps. were downloaded & installed, menu entries were created and the apps. run fine... life is good.

Another windows app. I wish to load is small self contained .exe that you just copy to a folder and double-click when running in the windows environment. I have tried using the cxoffice installer and run a window command options without success.

What am I missing? How can I install an windows app. that is a single file .exe?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, the app. is written by Starrsoft (www.starrsoft.org) and is named Win95 (win95.exe), it is used to program a Pro95 frequency scanner.

Cheers,
Darin
