Hello,
Sorry to have missed the company on the Winglucofacts entry. I've now
updated it to Ascensia.
As for the category, the "Biology" subcategory is under the main category
"Scientific/Technical/Math" in our Compatibility Center, so it's not
immediately visible when you access the "By Category" page. However,
"Biology" is used for software pertaining to the study of biology as a
field. The way we list things, Winglucofacts and other medical software go
under the "Special Purpose" category, so I've moved it there.
We process pledges manually in order to weed out prank pledges and spam. I
see your pledge, dated yesterday, in the queue and will process it now--many
thanks!
Just a general note: the best way to get a guaranteed response from us is
to drop an email to info at codeweavers.com, as we check those emails and
respond to them on a daily (weekday) basis.
Best wishes,
Jessica Nunn

Subject: [cw-discuss] Inaccurate description in Compatibility List
To CrossOver I must admit, I'm a little ticked.
Some time ago, I had entered an application, Winglucofacts Diabetes
Management software for consideration. It was entered in the biology
Section.
Some three months later I told Crossover that the description of the source
company was in-correct. It lists the source as Unknown or out of business,
and as I explained at the time, the supplier is Ascensia, a division of
Bayer, one of the largest medical suppliers in the world.
Today, the only way I can find Winglucofacts on the list is to search by
name.
Not only is it not listed under Biology, the whole Biology section is
missing altogether.
I accept that not everyone has diabetes, or uses glucometer software. But
please don't make it even tougher to get running under Linux by hiding it
this way.
My pledge doesn't show up, either.
