Thats something I was pondering. I don't know a lot about .net or mono.
There seem to be a lot of systems out there now which are a mixture of
.net and Windows programs.
Mono allows .net programs to run on nix systems, in the same way that
Wine/Crossover allows Windows executables to.
So the question is - If you install Mono and Crossover, will a mixed
.net and Windows program run seamlessly ?
If not, are there any plans for the Mono and Wine projects to liaise ?

IMO .net is a con job by MS designed to kill off Java by providing a
cross platform environment which isn't (in MS speak, cross platform
seems to mean across different version of Windows)
