If it helps, I'm using opensuse 10.3 with the ATI fglrx driver - I built
and installed my own though ( version 8.40.4 ).  All seems well.

There are some issues, though, since opensuse 10.3 now uses libxcb -
java apps, for example, need to have LIBXCB_ALLOW_SLOPPY_LOCK set and
the ATI configuration app doesn't work.

However, for me at least, crossover works fine with 8.40.4.
