[cw-discuss] upgrading from edgy->gutsy, any issues?

I'm running crossover 6.1 on ubuntu edgy (6.10), on a dell laptop. it does
everything i need it to (basically run office 2003 & IE6).
I have another machine that i installed the newest ubuntu on (7.10), and
crossover didn't install properly. There were some weird path problems in
some perl script that crossover executes during installation.
So I have 2 questions: since I'm not going to (re)install crossover on my
current machine, and hence probably wouldn't see this error, is it ok to
upgrade? And/or, are there any known issues/fixes w.r.t gutsy gibbon? I
would like to update my laptop so i don't fall too far behind the security
updates, but at the same time, it's my work machine, so I need it to
function at 100%.
anyone have any info on this?
Thanks,
Mike
