Yes, as I suspected it is an issue loading large files. I too can load
the small sample files but not the one I need to, the OS 50,000:1 map of
Great Britain which is 3GB in size. I also just discovered that
printing doesn't work even when I can load a map. The frame round the
map is OK but the map itself looks like an old TV picture with the
horizontal hold gone.
Oh well. back to playing with virtualisation I guess!
