Actually I meant for the CX_LOG environment variable to be set to a 
filename, but apparently I forgot half of it. So the command would be 
something like this:

CX_LOG=$HOME/startup.log 
"/opt/cxoffice/support/managed_win98/desktopdata/cxmenu/StartMenu.c^5E3A^5Fwindows^5Fprofiles^5Fcrossover^5FStart^2BMenu/Programs/Just+Swallow+This+Camera/Just+Swallow+This+Camera"

(all on one line)

However in this case it looks like the 'input output error' window is 
brought up by the Windows application itself, probably because it fails 
to access the camera. Unfortunately there is probably not much we can do 
about it as Wine does not support hardware drivers.
