When installing CrossOver using the RPM or Debian packages, then using a 
package manager will do the right thing, whether for upgrading or 
uninstalling.

The next time they run a Windows application, CrossOver will notice that 
their bottles are old and will automatically upgrade them. So it should 
be transparent, save for a small extra delay when the upgrade takes place.
