Yes, we plan to ship a 'Quartz Driver', which would eliminate X.
However, that is a lot of work, and we have to be careful that it only
represents a step forward, not a step backwards.  Fortunately, while
the customized X server we include with CrossOver is not the ideal
solution, it is so far working well enough for our needs.
