[cw-discuss] Install of Accucobol hangs during component selection

I've tried this under several previous releases with the same results
but thought I'd give it a go with 6.2.

I'm tired of dual booting my machine just to compile a COBOL program so
this would be a nice-to-work thing for me. (Don't laugh, COBOL keeps my
family fed).

Yes, there is a Linux version but it costs an extra $500. Why? Because
that's what they charge.

During the install every thing goes smoothly except when it comes to
trying to select the specific component to install. When a check box is
clicked the description beside the box is replaces by something like
AOLE but the letters are all mashed together with no space between them
and partially overlaid. It almost looks like the program is in a tight
loop refreshing the AOLE. I can click <Back or Forward> all I can do is
kill the window. An 'X' never displays in the check box.

Particulars:

CX 6.2
Mandriva 2006
KDE
Accucobol 7.2.2
Installed direct from CD into it's own w2k bottle

Attached is the install log.

Thanks.
