[cw-discuss] Best supported Office version

With the impending release of CrossOver Linux v6.2, I'm wondering what
the best supported version of Office is.
When looking at the compatibility lists on the web site, it seems that
for general use (that is, deploying to users who generally don't want
to do any troubleshooting or experimenting themselves), Office 2000 is
probably still the best bet. Would that still be correct with v6.2?
I have done some very limited testing of Word and Excel 2003, and they
seem mainly ok, but I'm concerned about their listed "bronze"
compatibility level before inflicting them on others. This is for users
who generally use Word, Excel and Powerpoint; I don't think we worry
about Access or Outlook.
