As long as the threads can be subscribed to, that's a good idea.
It would be idea if there were a variety of ways to be auto-subscribed
(always with the ability to globally or individually turn off the
subscriptions):
- Subscribe to entire formum (get email about everything in the forum
either individually, or as a digest)
- Subscribe to threads one starts
- Subscribe to threads on replies to
Those are my thoughts on it -- for what they're worth. :-)
