[cw-discuss] extension "GLX" missing on display error

Now, I don't know enough about X to speak authoritatively, but just to
try to help, I get:

I don't think that a grep for "DRI" does much - note the "direct rendering" I get.
 
I have seen different displays when starting X with 2 different userids
on the same machine - something like "startx -- :1" (I can't remember
the exact incantation).

And I'm running OpenSUSE 10.2 if that makes a difference.
