[cw-discuss] Does crossover trigger display detection in X?

I have an annoying behavior on my laptop.

 

Whenever I launch a Crossover application or a Win application installed
in a bottle. My external monitor flickers 1 to 3 times just like if a
display probe was performed. This also happens sometimes when I maximize
windows and close applications. What could be causing this? It's very
annoying however. (I'm running this on the 6.2.0 release).

 

I have also noted that if I minimize Outlook and then brings it back the
window becomes transparent and I need to restart it to get the image
back. But this I believe more could be a Beryl issue rather than
Crossover.
