I'll have to agree with Marco here. Beryl and Compiz are fun to play
with (and show off to your non-Linux-using family/friends/colleages)
but in the end they're too slow/buggy/unstable/annoying to use in an
everyday setup.
In short: if Beryl or Compiz gets in the way of your real
applications, do yourself a favor and turn it off. It's simply not
worth the trouble. Don't worry, you're not the only one having
problems with it.
