Yah, that is a good idea, and one that we're considering.
But one point you might not be aware of is that the dupes don't
usually come in unreviewed apps; they come on already published apps.
So publishing unreviewed submissions will have the side effect
of having a search for 'Office 2007' return 20 hits at any
given time :-/.
Half a year is an exaggeration, btw; it's at about 90 days right now,
and that's quite high. It was 'historically' a few weeks at most,
but we just haven't adjusted to the doubled interest the Mac market has brought.
Jeremy and Jess are going to make a push to see if we can make
a major dent in it and bring that lag down substantially.
