I take offense at the idea the DB is badly designed.

I will go ahead and add a confirmation email to the AppDB (with a note
that it may take up to 6 months for your app to be approved :-p).

As far as getting your app through faster, the secret would be to log
onto IRC #crossover at irc.freenode.net and /msg jnunn during work hours
here. 10:00 - 17:00 CST.

She maintains the app queue (currently over 600 apps in the queue,
DOH!).
