[cw-discuss] Crossover Office and WMP9

Hi

I'm running Crossover Office 6.0.1 (Pro Edition) on Ubuntu Feisty Fawn 
(7.04) on my DELL laptop and I am trying to install Windows Media Player 
9. I have installed Internet Explorer 6 and WMP 6.4 first and those work 
but I read that you can install wmp9 also (though not so stable but I 
need it for some streaming content). Everytime I try to run the WMP9 
installer I get the message "No new updates right now. Please try again 
later." Do I need to change something first or am I missing something? 
My second question is, I read that you can use the wmp plugins in linux 
directly, how does that work?
