Hey Joe,

This should all be easy to do, in theory.

This page in the documentation should be of some help:

I do have to admit that we need to add the facility to create
.deb files, instead of just RPMs; we'll hopefully get to it
farily soon.

But if you're using a shared volume, the notes on the documentation
might save you the most trouble.
