I would create the rpm using crossover and use "alien" to covert to a deb file which will keep your packaging system in order.

We run an Ubuntu 6.10 LTSP server. We have Crossover 6.0 Pro
installed. The home directory is mounted over NFS from our file
server. I'm building a replacement LTSP server installation with
Ubuntu 7.04.

I've seen options in Crossover for building RPM packages for installing
bottles onto another machine. However on Ubuntu they use deb packages
instead. Do I simply install the rpm utilities on Ubuntu then create
the rpm packages to migrate Crossover itself and the bottles?

Thanks!
