I have tested it and compared it against quicktime running as plugin
with firefox..

Sorry, but this plugin works pretty bad when it comes to streaming, as
it doesn't have any smart streaming implementation. You can watch
quicktime clips with it, but when it comes to HD quicktime clips or a
live streaming, you'll get tons of skipping.
