Thank you for your reply.
As far I as I know I did install quicktime 6 as you advised (QT 7
won't install at all on my Gentoo from the .cxoffice-Installer).
I also tried to look at the Quicktimes in my Firefox but they won't
show. My about:plugins has all the correct entries. I just says
"application could not initialize please reload the page".
