Yes, this is a bug in CrossOver.

My understanding is that if you install dcom98 into the same
bottle as IE, it will often fix it.  Note that dcom98 can
be downloaded directly from the CrossOver menu, so you don't
have to hunt the web for it (you may have to reveal extra service
packs and such to get it on the list).
