oplocks = no
level2 oplocks = no
on teh samba server did help some.
I may also need to upgrade my samba server, it is 3.0.14a, running on a
freebsd-5 box. I have been going to build another hardware and box for this
application, this might be a good time, and maybe use a kubuntu for the
server this time?
