[cw-discuss] Any support for serial ports?

I've recently switched from a Mac PowerBook G4 to a MacBookPro and am 
exploring replacements for Virtual PC on the G4. I like the idea of 
not having Windows on my Mac and was hoping Crossover would do the 
trick for me, but it now looks like it might not. I need to run 
mapping software and connect my my GPS to the computer to transfer 
maps and waypoints. The mapping software seems to run OK, but I don't 
see any way to configure a serial port to connect the GPS, and the 
CodeWeavers website sIfeems totally silent about whether or not 
external hardware connections are supported.

Is there any way to configure a serial port in Crossover so I can 
connect my GPS?

If not, that limitation should certainly be addressed in the FAQ, so 
that people who need that won't waste their time downloading and 
playing with Crossover.
