[cw-discuss] Clipboard Problem - Office 2003 Pro on FC6

This is all new to me. I'm so looking forward to getting all the M$
Office functionality I have to have working on my Linux box. Then I can
do something useful with the old Windows machine I have to keep around.
My hardware is a DualCore Pentium D 3.0 GHz (64 bit) HP Pavillion
Desktop running Crossover Linux 6.0 on FC6 with a 2.6.19 kernel.

M$ Office 2003 Pro installed OK and took SP2 just fine in the win2000
bottle.

1. PROBLEM FIXED: My first problem was that installing the Office fonts
failed. After reading the updated FAQ and adding "noexec=off selinux=0
audit=0" to grub.conf, then rebooting into the 2.6.19 kernel from the
older 2.6.18 kernel, I was able to install the fonts, and both Word and
Excel seemed to render documents just fine.

2. PROBLEM PENDING: A more serious problem is that every time I attempt
to copy an Excel chart into a Word document, Word crashes with the
message: "Microsoft Office Word has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Any ideas on how to fix this
problem? It's a deal breaker.

Thanks so much.
