One other question, now that I've attempted an install of IE 6.0 into my
win2000 bottle which contains Office 2003....

I selected Internet Explorer 6.0 in the Install Windows Software
application. I choose the win2000 bottle rather than the recommended win98
bottle. I chose express install which attempted to download something from
codeweavers. I don't have internet access on this machine so this failed
and took me to the advanced install. I then selected the installation
application which was on my CD (ie6setup.exe). It then attempted to
download something else (InstMSI ... Or something like that ... Can't
remember) which also failed but gave me the option to continue. So I did
which brought up ie6setup.exe from my CD. The installation seemd to go
well, and COO did a simulated reboot.

I can see the IE application in Program Files under the win2000 bottle, so I
know it was installed, but can't see any menu items, shortcuts, or anyway to
actually activate IE.

Are there any instructions on how to install IE6 from a cd when you don't
have net access, and have it create menu icons like office 2003 did?

Thanks,

Hi Steven,

Well, If I remember, Office XP (and 2000) had an IE install inside them.

But anyway, you can easily create a ZIP file of IE6SP1 and then later unzip
and install it.

You can follow the instructions found here:
http://www.updatexp.com/download-ie6.html

Thanks,
Hetz
