You cannot install Windows drivers in CrossOver because CrossOver is not
Windows.

In order for MIDI to work, it must be supported by the native
environment, either Linux or Mac OS X, and by the Wine sound 'backend'
in use. So currently the only platform where I know CrossOver supports
MIDI is on Linux with either the OSS or Alsa sound backends as these are
the only two that support MIDI.

So to get MIDI working you should first check that it is supported by
the Linux driver for your specific sound card. Then make sure CrossOver
is using either the OSS or Alsa backends rather than the aRts or ESounD
ones. And then, it should work... at least in theory. The trouble is
that the supported applications don't use MIDI (or very rarely) so it is
very rarely tested and may get broken without us noticing.

Regards,
