I meant to try it from a command line, but I deleted the bottle before
I tried it. Launching something from the command line is frequently
very instructive because it shows what is happening as the program
launches. Errors that never appear in the GUI are displayed in the
terminal, giving you a good start on figuring out what went wrong and
how to fix it. All I can tell you now is that it hung on "waiting for
late initializers." I have a feeling that it wouldn't take much to get
it working. I also note that the Adobe CS suite has quite a bit of
money pledged behind it. But I'm not a programmer and I could be way
off.
