[cw-discuss] Loading delays with Crossover 5.03/6.0 & FC6

Hi.

I have been using Crossover 5.03 for a while under Mandriva Linux and it worked
perfectly with Office 2000 and Maple 9.5 but I was forced to change distro
because some fortran code i had to run refused to work properly under mandriva
2007 and now I find that there is a huge time delay on everything except excel
appearing.

Microsoft Excel still runs fine, but Word takes about 5 minutes to appear
(though WINWORD.exe appears in ksysguard immediately) the same with Maple, and I
tried to install skype and I thought it wasn't working but then when I had
gotten back to work the installer appeared magically about 5 minutes later
(though skype3.0 doesn't seem to ever start).

Is this time delay a known issue with a possible fix or is it part of the
headache that is FC6?
