Quite right, even when some of them have come to their elevated 
positions from being ace software coders and programmers, now they leave 
that sort of lowly stuff to their minions. My admiration always go out 
to the senior officers in the Royal Air Force, though they were doing 
desk bound jobs, there was not a piece of equipment they weren't 
knowledgeable about and could wield test equipment like the best 
technicians or better. If previously they were pilots, they could fly 
and were current to fly any aircraft in their squadrons.
