hi! i was able to install express scribe in ubuntu 6.10. however, filename
extensions such as .aif, .au, .aac, .asf, .dct, .dss, .dvf, .flac, .mp3,
.msv, .mp2, .mpga, .ogg, .ra, .ram, .rm, .sri, .vox, .wma, .wav won't work.
i can't even use the files tab of the express scribe settings. i tried to
run .dct and .wav sound files but the .wav file won't run. this message
appeared:
"totem could not play 'file:///home/administrator/Desktop/DW_A0744.wav'.
you do not have a decoder installed to handle this file. you might need to
install the necessary plugins."
pls help me with it.
thanks,
marither
