Don't know if it's the same with Notes8, but there had been discussions 
on one list if performance of Notes7/Win running under Wine was actually 
better than the Linux-native version of Notes7 (the impression was that 
Notes7/Wine was actually faster).  These issues may have been fixed 
under Notes8, but I kinda doubt it.
