Yep, and that's also the reason this debate surfaces on this list every
so often. It's the defacto standard for this type of work, there's no
alternative in the Linux world, and Crossover hasn't supported it for years.
Given that a bog standard Wine system running on Ubuntu now installs and
runs Word and Excel quite happily, Crossover needs some new
functionality to justify it's extra cost. Support for the tricky things,
like the recent Adobe products, would sell it again for me.
