[cw-discuss] kbuildsycoca sigfault

I'm trying to install Crossover on a new Thinkpad, running Fedora 8
with KDE.  Every time I install Crossover, I get an immediate error
"The application kBuildSycoca crashed and caused the Signal 11
(SIGSEGV)", and I continue to get that error on login, even after
Crossover has been uninstalled.  New users created after the install
experience the same problem, as does root.  I've tried with both the
Loki installer and the rpm.  I also experienced the same thing with
CentOS on this computer, though I only did that once so I'm not so
sure of the order of events ... but I've installed Crossover under
CentOS on desktops several times without any problem.

I've googled and come up with nothing.  Does this sound familiar to
anyone?
