[cw-discuss] Sony M-CREW for controlling Stereo system

Hello all,

I have a Sony Stereo system which has CD, cassette tape, radio and 
minidisc (yes, I love obselete technology!). It comes with Windows 
software to control the whole thing (M-CREW). It works fine with XP.

I tried to install it as an unsupported application (all the things I 
install are unsupported) and I got this strange message which I am not 
giving verbatim but it said that I did not have the permissions to mount 
or read it. But there it was on the desktop as a CD icon mounted 
automatically and perfectly legible; for example the instructipn PDF on 
the CD could be read with no trouble.

Any thoughts?
