Thanks John, but yes. I have all the fonts available within Word (Times 
New Roman, Arial, etc.). The problem is a bug and not a lack of fonts. 
When I type the accented character and then the vowel character nothing 
happens. I means that no character appears on the screen. It is curious 
but I bought a copy of this product a few years ago, I think it was the 
3.0 and it had the same problem (on Knoppix running on a different 
computer). Since I had paid for it I could register a Ticket and I got 
if fixed. I cannot remember what was wrong but I was sent a modified 
version of one of the binary program files and had to substitute it for 
the one that came by default...

I can see that they haven't fixed the bug in a long lasting sense...

I wish I could use the version 3.0 that I have but unfortunately it will 
not work with the newer versions of KDE.
