[cw-discuss] Any luck with Adobe Approval?

I still have not found decent, free software for filling out PDF forms.
We have Adobe Approval 5 licenses (old, I know). While it installs,
renders, and seems to run just fine under cxoffice, the moment I click
on any fillable form it immediately crashes.

Does some other version of Approval work? Has anyone tested?
Is there any native free software that could do the job?
Is there any windows software for the job that would work under cxoffice?
