[cw-discuss] Crossover Mac

I am trying out Crossover Mac for the industry specific Windows/DOS
applications I use. I was able to get ETC's Expression Offline 3.1
and Obsession Offline 5.1.2 to work with crossover. These are the two
primary applications I need to run. This was cause for much joy! (I
really hate rebooting for boot camp and Parallels has issues. Fusion
is usable, but I would rather not deal with Windows at all.)

There are at least two more, a third if I am really ambitious, that I
would like to get working in Crossover if it is at all possible. The
applications can run under Windows 98, but they are really DOS
applications (Obsession Offline version 2.4.2 and 4.4.2. There is
also ETCEdit, which I have only needed once this past year, but you
never know when it would come in handy again.).

I really don't want a DOS emulator (I found DOSBox, but I haven't
tried it), unless it functions like Crossover. I would rather just
have one solution, and so far I'd rather it be Crossover. As little
as I use Windows this is pretty much a deal breaker for me, even
though I am quite impressed that the two offline editors I have work
at all! Nice job, everyone.

I did notice that ETC's Expression Offline was on the list of
applications untested. I can say that it does work, if that helps
anyone.

Thanks,
Joe
