A bit more info
As the dll it was missing was in the default win98 bottle , I mloaded 
Live_Muf into it.
It ran a few secs longer then failed with a fatal error
"CLR error 80004005"
That means not a lot to me.
Upto the point it failed this was produced:-

I did try setting the windows version but it still failed with the same 
fatal error.
