Hi,

  The inability to install Office 2007 is a known issue.  It may be a
little while still until it installs and runs.  I am sure we are all
hoping for the next release of CX but Jeremy is way more qualified to
give you an estimate than I am.  It may already be running in the
nightly builds.  It has been a little while since I have downloaded
one and tested it against any new software so I am not sure what the
status is.
