After installing Xandros 4.0 I installed WMP 6.4.  While opening up a
website, looks like it upgraded my WMP to 7.01.  I didn't intend for
this to happen, because 6.4 was working near perfect, now WMP is crap.  

I tried to uninstall WMP 7, but CX just hangs and never does the job.  

How can I uninstall 7 and reinstall 6.4?  CX doesn't seem to be able to
do it on it's own.
