Just an FYI,

That fixed a problem I was having with Office 2003 on openSUSE 10.2 Alpha
4.  Seems that it may be needed with other distros with kernel >= 2.6.17.

Doh!

We apparently have a work around for at least one problem on Fedora Core 5
x64.
We committed it to our FAQ, but not on the branch that goes live on the
web site.  I've fixed that now.

But FC5 x64 folks should at least give this a try:

We're hoping that 6.0 won't need that workaround
(but we, too, are always interested in what the Fedora folks will
throw at us next :-/).
